Third countries

Beyond Europe's borders, with method.

Transactions with third countries require careful checks on product, destination and applicable rules. We deal with them one by one.

What we do

Supplies to third countries.

We organise supplies of industrial and electrical equipment to non-European markets and purchases from foreign suppliers.

We often work through drop shipment: several manufacturers deliver the goods to a consolidation point, such as the port of loading, from which an appointed carrier forwards them to destination.

  • Developing relationships with international suppliers and customers
  • Commercial organisation of the supply, from quotation to order
  • Coordination with appointed freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers
  • Consolidation of goods from several manufacturers into a single shipment
  • Commercial documentation supporting export formalities

The framework

Different markets, different rules.

Every third country has its own requirements, duties and procedures. That is why we assess each transaction individually.

Before every transaction

What needs to be checked.

Timing, costs and feasibility of a non-EU transaction depend on the product, the country and the rules in force at the time of shipment.

  • Product requirements in the destination country: technical standards, certifications, labelling
  • Documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, transport documents, certificates of origin where required
  • Duties, taxes and charges applied on import in the destination country
  • Restrictions: restrictive measures, authorisations or licences that may be required
  • Delivery terms and the allocation of costs and risks between the parties

Customs formalities are handled by appointed freight forwarders and customs brokers. We do not guarantee customs clearance outcomes, duty exemptions or delivery times that depend on third parties and the competent authorities.
