Our role
We coordinate shipments, from origin to destination.
Transport is part of the supply: it affects timing, costs and risks. That is why we plan it together with the quotation.
Fralex does not operate its own vehicles: for each transaction it appoints qualified carriers, freight forwarders and, where needed, customs brokers, and coordinates their work. You have a single point of contact who follows pick-ups, documents and delivery terms through to delivery.
AIR02
Air freight
For urgent spare parts and components, when delivery times are critical.
Best suited for: Critical spare parts, small and light components, tight delivery deadlines.
ROAD03
Road freight
Pick-ups from manufacturers and deliveries in Italy and Europe, full truckload or groupage.
Best suited for: Supplies within the European Union, pick-ups from manufacturers, legs to ports and airports.
RAIL04
Rail freight
Rail and intermodal solutions, where available, for European connections.
Best suited for: European connections on served corridors, combined transport with truck and ship.

- Timing: required delivery date and available margins
- Destination: country, available connections and customs procedures
- Costs: comparison of options and allocation under the agreed Incoterms®
- Origin: location of manufacturers and options for consolidating goods
Intermodal solutions
The best solution often combines several modes: for example road pick-up from manufacturers, consolidation at the port of loading and sea freight to destination. We coordinate every step as a single operation.
Note. Transport is carried out by carriers and freight forwarders appointed for each transaction. Timing and conditions also depend on third parties and the competent authorities: we state them clearly in the quotation, without promising what is not under our control.
